TOKYO -- The Move Forward Party's shock victory in Thailand's lower house election on May 14 may mark the start of a new era for Thai politics, one less dominated by former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
About a week on from the vote, Move Forward has assembled a coalition of eight opposition parties -- including Thaksin's own Pheu Thai Party -- that holds 313 seats in the 500-member House of Representatives.
