China consumer prices swing into decline as deflation risks build

BEIJING -- China's consumer prices in July fell 0.3% from a year earlier -- the first decline in two years and five months as an uncertain future weighed down sales of cars and other durable goods -- the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday.
