Trump aluminum tariffs to hit 123 areas, including chip equipment

TOKYO -- Additional U.S. tariffs on aluminum set to take effect on March 12 will cover 123 products including chipmaking equipment parts and aircraft components, Nikkei has learned, in a potential blow to Japanese companies that rely on exports to America.
