NEW YORK -- The flurry of tariffs being imposed on many sectors and trade partners by U.S. President Donald Trump could drive up inflation in the country by at least 1 percentage point, said Atsuhide Sakamoto, a Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. senior economist.
