Of the 27,000 Isuzu trucks sold in North America during the fiscal year through March 2025, around 40% were shipped from Japan as finished vehicles.

TOKYO/FRANKFURT -- Isuzu Motors and other Japanese automakers are gearing up for challenges after U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday signed an order to impose a 25% additional tariff on imports of medium and heavy-duty trucks from Nov. 1.
