WASHINGTON/MANILA -- U.S. President Donald Trump and Philippine counterpart Ferdinand Marcos Jr. reached a trade deal in Washington that reduces the threatened tariffs on Philippine goods by 1 percentage point to 19%, Trump said Tuesday, announcing the agreement on his social media platform.
