WASHINGTON/TOKYO -- The U.S. and Japan have agreed to a trade deal that would bring down both auto tariffs and the "reciprocal" levies threatened by President Donald Trump from 25% to 15%, culminating months of negotiations ahead of an Aug. 1 deadline.
