BEIJING/WASHINGTON -- U.S. and Chinese officials are making last-minute efforts to arrange a deal that would avert a full-scale trade war as President Donald Trump and his counterpart Xi Jinping head into a meeting on the sidelines of the Group of 20 summit in Argentina.
