China rare-earth magnet exports to US tumble 30%

BEIJING -- China's exports of rare-earth magnets to the U.S. dropped sharply again last month, in what appears to be an effort to rattle Washington amid trade tensions that have escalated with export curbs by Beijing and U.S. threats of retaliation.
