U.S.-bound container ship traffic from Asia up 4%

Shipments reached a record for June, but inflation threatens to snarl demand

TOKYO -- Container ship traffic from Asia to the U.S. in June totaled 1.72 million twenty-foot equivalent units, up 4% on the year and setting a record for that month, according to U.S. research company Descartes Datamyne.
