TOKYO -- Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman will contribute $2.5 million through fiscal 2027 to Kyoto University professor Shinya Yamanaka's work on using induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell technology to treat cancer, Schwarzman and Yamanaka told Nikkei on Wednesday.
