China tariffs should be phased in gradually: Trump-aligned analyst

WASHINGTON -- The Trump administration should phase in tariffs against Chinese goods "over a number of years" so businesses can better plan their response, Chris Griswold, policy director at conservative think tank American Compass, told Nikkei in a recent interview.
