HONG KONG -- A proposed transnational rail and shipping route that passes through India, the Middle East and Europe -- widely seen as a counterweight to China's Belt and Road Initiative -- reflects an evolving world, the United Arab Emirates' economy minister told Nikkei Asia in an interview.
