BANGKOK/YANGON -- Humanitarian assistance to Myanmar must take precedence over any political negotiations, Bill Richardson, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, told Nikkei Asia after his Naypyitaw visit, which has drawn criticism from human rights groups.
