BANGKOK -- Patrick Keane was a budding Australian architect steeled in the traditional approach of New York City firms when he moved his young family via Australia to the Thai island of Phuket in 2018. For Keane, the result was life-changing. But it has also contributed significantly to a global climate change-related shift to more natural design and construction methods.
