HANOI -- Vietnam's tally of UNESCO World Heritage Sites increased to nine during the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee in Paris in July with the addition of the Yen Tu-Vinh Nghiem-Con Son, Kiep Bac Complex of Monuments and Landscapes. There was also good news for Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, which was extended to include Hin Nam No National Park in Laos, creating the country's first transboundary heritage site.
