GALLE, Sri Lanka -- Just 129 kilometers south of Colombo, Galle feels a world away from Sri Lanka's commercial capital and largest city. Once a Dutch settlement, this coastal town has grown into a colorful mosaic of cultures, cuisines and communities. It is one of the island nation's most cosmopolitan enclaves, and without doubt, among its most beguiling.
