NEW DELHI -- In August 2024, Indri Dru, a single malt whisky from India's northern state of Haryana, took five medals at the annual USA Spirits Ratings awards, astonishing many participants. Among other prizes, Indri Dru was crowned Whiskey of the Year, Single Malt Whiskey of the Year and Best Spirit of the Year by Country.
