MELBOURNE -- The Melbourne Writers Festival, which will be held this year from May 8 to May 12, is one of Australia's most anticipated literary events. Over nearly 40 years since it was founded in 1986, the festival has gained a reputation for showcasing local and international authors in panel discussions, workshops and readings.
