Fuji Media shares shrug off SMAP's breakup

TOKYO -- Despite the surprise announcement that massively popular Japanese boy band SMAP is breaking up, the stock price of Fuji Media Holdings, the broadcaster that airs the group's weekly TV show, rose to 1,294 yen Monday, up 0.9% from Friday.
