NEW YORK/TOKYO -- The most obvious similarity between the flagship branch of TsuruTonTan, the wildly popular Japanese noodle-fest restaurant chain in Tokyo's Roppongi entertainment district, and its newly-minted New York outpost is the line snaking out of the door.
