BYRON BAY, Australia -- It is the worst way a day at the beach can end in Australia -- blood in the water and rescuers pulling someone from the waves after a shark attack. Last year, it was the tragic fate of Japanese surfer Tadashi Nakahara, killed by a great white shark at Ballina on the north coast of Australia's eastern state of New South Wales.
