The world's largest chip foundry, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), held its annual sports day on Nov. 8, as part of team-building efforts. Notably, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang attended the event for the first time, while TSMC founder Morris Chang was absent due to illness.

With China's economy still sluggish, major e-commerce platforms are extending their sales campaigns. Singles Day, the nation's largest annual online shopping event, used to take place only on Nov. 11 but is now nearing the end of a monthlong run.
