Australia vows to tackle 'national shame' of violence against women

SYDNEY -- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Wednesday said the government will invest 925 million Australian dollars ($600 million) to help women escape violent relationships as the country's leaders face pressure to tackle the "national shame" of gender-based violence.
