Taiwan waiting for U.S. F-16s and tanks in $19bn arms sale backlog

TAIPEI/NEW DELHI -- Taiwan's backlog of weapons orders from the U.S., its largest foreign supplier, has reached about $19.2 billion, raising concerns about how prepared the island is for a cross-strait crisis.
