Vietnam, India escaping scrutiny as their international standings grow, group says

BANGKOK -- The international rights group Human Rights Watch called out the world's democracies for employing "selective outrage and transactional diplomacy" in responding to abuses, particularly in Asian countries, like India and Vietnam, that have become vital to geopolitical hedging.
