NEW DELHI -- Nitin Gadkari, a senior leader in India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a member of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cabinet, fainted while delivering a speech during an election rally late last month on a day when temperatures soared to 40 C.
