JAKARTA -- Indonesian stocks fell 2.27%, the rupiah weakened to a four-week low and government meetings were canceled on Friday as violent protests continued in Jakarta and other cities following demonstrations the previous day during which a motorcycle taxi driver was killed after being hit by a police vehicle.
