TORKHAM, Pakistan/BERLIN -- For the past two decades, Mohammed has led a life of upheaval. He fled internal conflict in Afghanistan to Pakistan in 2000, returned to his homeland in 2010 during a period of relative calm, and recently crossed the border again to escape deteriorating conditions under Taliban rule.
