TOKYO -- Chinese state-owned airlines are offering free cancellations for flights to Japan, the carriers said Saturday, part of a growing dispute over Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's remarks regarding Taiwan and the ensuing backlash from Beijing.
