TOKYO -- Despite a seemingly strong partnership between Japan and the U.S., a gradual shift in Washington's strategy in the coming decades will pose challenges to maintaining their alliance, defense and politics experts warned at the Mount Fuji Dialogue in Tokyo on Saturday.
