GUANGZHOU/SHENZHEN -- Thursday marked a year since the fatal stabbing by a Chinese man of a 10-year-old boy attending a Japanese school in Shenzhen, an incident that has brought tighter security at such schools and a move away from the distinctive randoseru backpacks that Japanese students carry.
