KUALA LUMPUR -- Two Southeast Asian nations, Malaysia and Thailand, have recently revealed their plans to join the BRICS grouping of emerging nations as middle power countries seek to maneuver amid growing geopolitical uncertainties, including the U.S.-China tensions.
