SYDNEY -- New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Chinese President Xi Jinping met in Beijing on Friday, Luxon's office said, seeking to manage challenges in their relations that have heightened of late in connection with growing Chinese clout in the South Pacific.
