MEXICO CITY -- With less than three weeks remaining in Honduras' close-fought presidential election, the Central American country's diplomatic stance toward China and Taiwan has become a dividing issue, with two opposition candidates declaring their openness to restoring relations with Taipei that the current Castro government severed in 2023.
