PHU MAKHUA, Thailand -- The guns may have fallen silent in this remote patch along the Thai-Cambodian border, where the late-July clashes between the Southeast Asian neighbors was the heaviest, but Phu Makhua has since emerged as ground zero in Thailand's diplomatic offensive against Cambodia over allegations of newly laid landmines.
