TOKYO -- Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba's Liberal Democratic Party may be gaining traction about three weeks before the July 20 upper house election, with those planning to vote for the LDP increasing 3 percentage points on the month to 29% in a new Nikkei/TV Tokyo poll.
