TOKYO -- Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida's choice of China hand Yoshimasa Hayashi as his new foreign minister faced opposition from the ruling party's two most influential figures, former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and former Finance Minister Taro Aso, Nikkei has learned.
