WASHINGTON -- The Chinese Embassy in Washington dispatches officials to almost all of the key think tank seminars that cover foreign affairs these days, hoping to uncover clues to the direction of U.S. policy toward China of the next administration whether it be under President Joe Biden or former president Donald Trump.
