WASHINGTON -- As Donald Trump rode to victory in Tuesday's election, his Republican Party also managed to retake the Senate, paving the way for smooth confirmation of cabinet appointees and Supreme Court justices. Whether Republicans can win a majority in the House of Representatives will be crucial for the president-elect's proposed tax cuts.
