TOKYO -- Japan will consider deploying the Self-Defense Forces to ensure the safety of the country's nuclear power plants, Nikkei has learned, as Russia's attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in Ukraine has ushered in an awareness that reactors can be targeted by invading militaries.
