Vietnam draws fresh interest from Bain Capital after Masan deal

Enthusiasm comes as country takes No. 2 fundraising spot in Southeast Asia in Q2

HANOI -- U.S.-based investment firm Bain Capital is betting big on Vietnam after closing its first investment in the country. It recently bought around $200 million of local conglomerate Masan Group's convertible shares.
