Climate change raises risk of pandemics, medical journals warn

TOKYO -- Over 220 medical journals have come together to publish a joint editorial calling for governments to do more about preventing the devastating impacts of climate change, warning that environmental harm is the "greatest threat to global public health" ahead of the UN General Assembly this month.
