Nikkei analysis shows references to distinct identity vanishing from editorials

HONG KONG/TOKYO -- References to "Hong Kong people" and other phrases indicating an identity distinct from that of mainland China are disappearing from the city's media, according to an analysis by Nikkei of language used in tens of thousands of editorial pieces published by major Hong Kong Chinese-language newspapers since 2014.
