BANGKOK -- The Thai government on Tuesday said it remains neutral in the intensifying three-year conflict in neighboring Myanmar, in response to backlash over its approval of a request from the military regime next door to land an evacuation plane at a Thai airport, as resistance groups stepped up their offensive in a key border town.
