Olympus ex-CEO's drug case sent to Japanese prosecutors

Company asked executive to resign on suspicion of his receiving illegal stimulants

TOKYO -- Police in Tokyo have sent the case of former Olympus CEO Stefan Kaufmann to the Public Prosecutors Office on suspicion that he took possession of illegal drugs, a source close to the investigation confirmed on Tuesday.
