Event will be held in Shanghai to recruit local talent, with Japan fights also planned

WASHINGTON -- Ultimate Fighting Championship, the world's top mixed martial arts promotion company, is strengthening its presence in Asia in hopes of reaching beyond its more than 400 million fans in the region, the largest in the world.
