Taiwan's AUO to end display production in Singapore this month

TAIPEI -- Taiwanese display maker AUO will close its production lines in Singapore by the end of this month, affecting up to 500 employees, as sluggish demand for LCD screens continues to bite, Nikkei Asia has learned.
