TOKYO -- Japan and ASEAN will formulate a decade-long strategy to come out on top of the next-generation automobile industry, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said on Thursday, stressing how crucial those years will be as nations and manufacturers vie to be No. 1 in what is shaping up as one of tomorrow's most decisive technological sectors.
