WASHINGTON -- The Trump administration will press allies like Japan, South Korea and the Netherlands to comply more with U.S. export controls on China, preventing Beijing from accessing cutting-edge semiconductors, chipmaking equipment and software, a top Commerce Department official told Congress on Thursday.
